Artistic Expression Unleashed
Discover the Magic of
Elite Academy Music Montessori
Music and Art Classes!
The Elite Academy: Music Montessori is proud to utilize the Kindermusik Learning Curriculum! This approach celebrates each child’s unique musical journey, encouraging self-discovery, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Scientists tell us that infants are born with billions of nerve cells and a nearly unlimited potential for connections between those nerve cells. Every time an infant has a sensory experience, neural pathways are formed. The greater the number of neural pathways, the greater the brain power. Rich sensory environments are vital to the brain development of infants. Join us in fostering a love for learning through the power of music.
Diverse Learning Options
Tailored to Your Child's Needs
We understand that every child is unique, and that’s why we offer various music programs to cater to their interests and talents. Whether it’s singing in the choir, moving to the rhythm, mastering the piano, or embracing the violin’s strings, we have a program that’s perfect for your child. Kindermusik helps each child develop musically at the right time and in the right way. The result is a Kindermusik graduate with a solid foundation and a giant head-start when they move to instrumental lessons.
We incorporate the Montessori method into your music education to nurture independence and self-expression. Our diverse music programs provide a range of options to suit your child’s preferences and interests, ensuring an enriching and enjoyable musical journey. Discover the world of music with us and watch your child’s passion for melody flourish.
Choir - Empowering Young Voices
Our Choir program will be utilizing the Kodály Method. The Kodály method uses a system of movable-do solfège syllables for sight-singing: scale degrees are sung using corresponding syllable names (do, re, mi, fa, so, la, and ti). The syllables show function within the key and the relationships between pitches, not absolute pitch. Students will be introduced to ensemble, harmonization, and sight reading. Singing encourages a child to express their emotions and sharpens their ability to communicate while exercising lip and tongue movement. What we love the most about singing is it can be used as a creative and fun way to increase enjoyment and achievement in subject areas where children normally struggle.
Let your child’s voice soar in our enriching choir program! Through vocal training, harmonizing exercises, and group performances, our choir ensemble empowers young voices to express themselves confidently. Join our inclusive and supportive community where music unites us all.
Music & Movement - A Symphony of Learning
We at Elite are excited to incorporate the Dalroze method into our fine arts program. The Dalcroze method, also known as Dalcroze Eurhythmics, incorporates the basic elements of music—rhythm, melody, harmony—with body movement, to provide a multi-dimensional approach to music learning. In music and movement, improvisation is the name of the game. We will be encouraging our students to discover how music inspires them to move! The Dalcroze concept of improvisation is close to the nature of childhood play. According to Kathy Butera, “Improvising with full-body movement, singing or playing an instrument, helps the child internalize complex elements of rhythm, pitch, tone and dynamics…Through improvisation, composing becomes a personal and immediate creative act.
Through our dynamic music and movement classes, your child will experience the joy of rhythm, dance, and creative expression. Based on this method, this program nurtures both physical coordination and artistic appreciation. Watch your child’s confidence grow as they move to the beat of their own drum.
Art - Where Creativity Meets Harmony
The art program at The Elite Academy Music Montessori is a continuation of the successful mixed media art summer camp! Our students will be taught: art history and art appreciation. Elite students will also be introduced to art mediums such as: drawing, painting, sculpture/pottery, and photography. We at Elite understand that including art education in children’s daily lives greatly improves their learning experience overall. According to Lauren Martin, author of 10 Reasons Why Arts in Education is So Important for Kids, Arts education is important to developing the following: creativity, improved academic performance, motor skills, confidence, visual learning, decision making, perseverance, focus, collaborative skills, and accountability. What is awesome about art is that kids are naturally inclined to create. We are excited to provide children the space, education, and materials to explore their art practice.
